ONLINE QUOTE CALCULATORS

A quote calculator on your site: the customer works out the cost of a service and sends an enquiry straight away.

I build calculators for companies that price services: transport, installation, renovations, technical services. The customer answers a few questions, sees an indicative price and sends an enquiry with a ready summary. No online store and no cart.

I build this to order, around your rules. Describe your project and I will reply with questions and a preliminary quote, usually within one business day.

WHEN IT HELPS

You price the same thing dozens of times a month

The calculator takes over the repetitive part of the quote.

  • Every enquiry means follow-up questions

Before you give a price, you have to ask the same questions about dimensions, date and conditions.

  • Customers compare prices blind

Without an indicative price on the site, many customers simply don't ask.

  • Enquiries have gaps

A contact form doesn't collect what you need for a quote.

What a calculator can do

This is not a product configurator in a store, but a tool for pricing services. The scope depends on your rules.

  • 01

    Steps and dependencies

Questions that depend on earlier answers, so that the customer sees only what concerns them.

  • 02

    A price from a formula

Prices calculated from quantities, distances, floor areas and extras according to your rates.

  • 03

    An indicative result

I show a price or a range along with a note that the final quote depends on the details.

  • 04

    Summary and enquiry

The chosen options go into the form, and you receive the full set of data.

  • 05

    A message to the customer

The customer can get the summary by email, if you want.

  • 06

    Measurement

After analytics consent, you see at which step customers drop off.

Demo

The demo requires JavaScript.

The service, rates and prices are fictional and serve only to show the principle. This is not an offer or a ready pricing model.

This is just an example. I will build it around your case.

You do not need a specification. A few sentences about what should work is enough.

What the rollout looks like

  1. 01

    The rules of your pricing

We write down what affects the price and how you calculate it today. This is often the most valuable stage.

  2. 02

    Questions and the formula

I design the steps and the formula that turns the answers into a price.

  3. 03

    Build and tests on examples

We check the calculator on real, earlier jobs so that the results are credible.

  4. 04

    Launch and measurement

I embed the calculator on the site and check where customers stop.

FAQ

Questions about quote calculators

How does a quote calculator differ from a product configurator?
A configurator is for assembling a product (e.g. made to measure) and usually works in a store. A quote calculator is about services: transport, installation, renovations. The result is an enquiry and an indicative price, not a cart.
Will the calculator give an exact price?
Usually an indicative one. The accuracy depends on how precisely the pricing can be described by a formula. You can confirm the final price after a conversation.
Will the calculator work on my WordPress site?
Yes, it can be embedded on an existing site. I check the details after looking at the site.
Does the customer have to give their details to see the price?
They don't have to. You decide whether the result is visible straight away or after leaving contact details. It is usually better to show it straight away.
