An online booking system on your site: the customer picks a date and you don't answer the phone.
I prepare appointment booking systems for service companies: an availability calendar, service durations, confirmations and reminders. When a ready-made plugin isn't enough, I build rules matched to the way you work.
I build this to order, around your rules. Describe your project and I will reply with questions and a preliminary quote, usually within one business day.

WHEN IT MAKES SENSE
Bookings by phone and email take time
Signs that it is time for a booking system.
Appointments overlap
Two people book the same slot because nobody has one up-to-date list.
Customers give up after hours
In the evening and at weekends nobody answers, and the customer looks elsewhere.
A ready-made plugin has limits
It doesn't handle your rules: preparation time, packages, resource limits.
What a booking system can have
The scope depends on what is being booked. I choose only what is needed.
01
Availability calendar
Working hours, breaks, holidays and restrictions for particular services or people.
02
Services and durations
Different services of different lengths, with prices and conditions.
03
Confirmations and reminders
An email for the customer and for you, a reminder before the appointment.
04
Payments
A booking with no payment, with a deposit, or paid in advance.
05
Booking rules
A minimum notice time, limits, buffers between appointments.
06
External calendars
A connection to a calendar (e.g. via iCal) after checking what is technically possible.
SEE FOR YOURSELF
Choose a service, a day and a time
Book a sample appointment and see what the confirmation looks like.
Demo
The demo requires JavaScript.
The services, prices and availability are fictional. This is a simulation of how it works, not a working booking system.
This is just an example. I will build it around your case.
You do not need a specification. A few sentences about what should work is enough.
We write down the services, times, working hours and exceptions. This is where the most important decisions are made.
02
Choosing the solution
I check whether a ready-made plugin is enough or custom code is needed.
03
Build and tests
I implement the calendar, confirmations and payments, and then test on sample bookings.
04
Launch and training
I launch it on the site and show you how to manage the appointments.
Why Made IT
Over 12 years of experience
Programming and web development, including WordPress and WooCommerce. I also work with Laravel and web applications when a project calls for it.
Direct contact with the person doing the work
You talk to the person who designs and builds the solution, with no middlemen and no salesperson.
From analysis to ongoing care
Scope, implementation, tests on real data and further development. The code and access stay with you.
FAQ
Questions about a booking system
Do I have to build a system from scratch?+
Not always. For simple services a well-configured plugin is enough, and I will say so plainly. A custom solution makes sense with unusual rules.
Can a booking require payment?+
Yes: a deposit or full payment online. We match the payment method to your company.
Will the system sync with my calendar?+
Often yes (e.g. via iCal), but the scope of synchronisation depends on the calendar and what it can do. I check this before the quote.
How is this different from apartment bookings?+
This is about service appointments (visits, classes). Accommodation bookings have different rules (number of nights, season, a property calendar) and I describe them separately.
